Six-wine cellar tasting in central Dijon
Six Burgundy wines in a cellar under a hotel, explained in plain terms by a host who clearly loves the work. Not one to pass over.
Judy · Couple · August 2026
What travellers wrote after an evening in a Dijon cellar, a morning on the Côte de Nuits or a whole day on both côtes, retold in short beside each operator's own published rating. Comparing Dijon Wine guided tours? The ratings and prices sit side by side below.
These are travellers' own accounts, paraphrased. The low scores stay in, because they tell you something useful. A full van has a back seat. Two wineries can feel thin for a whole day. And a cancelled morning can move you to an afternoon that goes somewhere else.

Nine of us in the van, and the rear seat was cramped. The intercom was hard to follow, though the guide was clear in person, and the lunch break felt short.

Two-day private Grands Crus tour
Well organised and as described, with guides who added something at every winery, and a delicious lunch.
Kristine M. · May 2026
Across every length, the praise lands on the guide by name: the one who explains soils and pruning in the rows, the host who switches language for a mixed group, the driver who narrates on the road south.
Reviewers keep counting heads: seven in the group, only eight, just the two of us. When a van runs full, the back seat is where the complaints come from.
The cellars rarely serve food with the wine, and a full day starts at nine. Travellers who had lunch in the fare mention it; the rest say to plan for it.
Rain kept one e-bike group in the minivan, and the tastings still ran. On the vintage van, the vehicle itself can change: a 4x4 turned up for one group.
These figures are the operators' own, published on their booking pages and shown as they stand. They belong to the operators, not to us. The second column says where the day starts, and the third which côte it spends its hours in, or what it pours in town.
