Every shared wine tour in Dijon starts at a set kerb in the centre, so the
best bed is the one a short walk from yours. Pick your tour first, then the quarter. That
way your Dijon Wine reservation takes care of the morning.
The centre is pedestrian and compact, and every kerb below is inside it. If your tour
collects you from your hotel, the quarter matters less than the radius, which is in the
second table.

Place Darcy and the station
Place Darcy is the busiest kerb. The Ophorus days leave 16 Place Darcy at 9 am, and the
9:45 am full day meets at Maison Divia on the same square, near the red English phone booth.
The half-days use the car park beside Darcy park.
It sits between the station and the old centre. So a hotel here suits you if you arrive
on the TGV the night before and leave on the evening train. Every shared day that meets
here is on burgundy wine tours from dijon.
Saint-Bénigne and the west of the centre
The square in front of Saint-Bénigne is the second kerb. The white-wine lunch day and the
Dijon-and-Beaune lunch day both leave at 9:45 am and are back at 5 pm. The e-bike day into
the Côte de Beaune leaves at 9 am and is back at 4:30 pm.
La Source des Vins, the wine-and-cheese tasting, is opposite the cathedral. A hotel on
this side puts two kinds of day on your doorstep.
The old centre around the Palais des Ducs
The old centre is the quarter to wake up in. The Palais des Ducs, the owl on Notre-Dame
and the tourist office at 11 rue des Forges are all here. La Cave du Palais is five minutes'
walk from Place de la République.
Every kerb is a walk away, and the
evenings are the reason to stay: you walk to dinner after a day in the vines.
A narrow street of tall stone houses, its paving wet after rain
Rue Monge and rue Berbisey
Rue Monge leads toward the Cité, whose car park is the Monge car park. The Bourgogne Évasion
shop at 78 rue Monge is the start of both bike days: the Côte de Nuits e-bike day at 9:30
am, and the city ride to Lac Kir at 2:30 pm.
Les Caves de La Fine Heure pour their tasting at 32 rue Berbisey. So if bikes and cellars
are your plan, stay on this side. The rides are on dijon bike wine tour.
Beaune instead?
You can sleep in Beaune and still take a Dijon tour. Two shared days have a Beaune
option. The lunch day meets at the Hospices de Beaune at 11 am and is back at 4:30 pm. The
e-bike day meets at 2 rue de l'Hôtel-Dieu at 10:15 am and is back at 3:45 pm.
The private days collect you in Beaune too. Every other tour starts in Dijon, so a Beaune
bed narrows your choice. Book early for the Hospices sale weekend, 13 to 15 November 2026.
Hotel pickups and their radius
The private days come to you. Each sets its own area, so check your hotel sits inside it.

Set when you book
A hotel in a Côte village works with these, and not with the shared days, which start in
town. If that is your plan, you want private wine tours from Dijon.
Staying outside the centre?
The private days collect you in Dijon, Beaune or nearby and bring you back after the last glass.
If you drive in, the tourist office points you to the Trémouille-Marché car park or the
one on rue de la Préfecture. For the Cité, use the Monge car park. Two private days also
meet at the Divia car park on Place Darcy.
Then leave the car. On a tour, nobody in your party drives after the tastings, and every
day ends back where it began.
Questions about where to stay
Where should I stay in Dijon for wine tours?
Near Place Darcy if you arrive by train and want the shared days, which mostly meet there. Near Saint-Bénigne for the lunch days and the e-bike day into the Côte de Beaune.
Do Dijon wine tours pick you up at your hotel?
The private days do, in Dijon, Beaune or nearby, and the vintage van meets at a hotel reception. The shared days meet at a kerb in the centre instead.
Should I stay in Beaune instead of Dijon?
Stay in Beaune if you want to sleep among the vines. Two shared days from Dijon have a Beaune option, and the private days collect you there; every other tour starts in Dijon.
Where can I park in Dijon?
The tourist office points drivers to the Trémouille-Marché car park or the one on rue de la Préfecture, and to the Monge car park for the Cité. Leave the car there on a tasting day.
Where these facts come from
The kerbs and pickups come from each tour's booking page, the parking from Dijon's tourist
office, the sale weekend from Beaune Tourisme. Verify before you travel.
Three hours from your Dijon hotel's reception along the road between Chambertin and Romanée-Conti, with walks on the slopes and about five wines in a cellar. The operator may change the vehicle.
A private minivan from your hotel or an agreed place at 9:30 am, with 10 to 15 wines poured, Premiers and Grands Crus among them. Lunch costs about EUR 25-40 and is yours to buy.
A private car from your lodging in Dijon, Beaune or nearby at 9:30 am, with the wineries chosen to your taste and every tasting fee in the fare. Lunch is yours to buy.
