E-bike day in the Côte de Beaune with lunch
An easy meeting point in Dijon, about an hour's drive, then e-bikes along the Route des Grands Crus, a tasting, lunch and one more winery.
Tressa · April 2025

The day to book if you would rather ride between the vineyards than watch them from a window. A minivan takes you from Saint-Bénigne to Meursault, and you spend two hours on an e-bike among the white-wine villages. Lunch of charcuterie and cheese and a seven-wine tasting at a family winery are in the fare.
Or join in Beaune at 10:15 am and be back there at 3:45 pm.
Along bike paths through the Côte de Beaune, from Meursault.
For riders who want more, among the great white vineyards.
Local charcuterie and cheese platters, before the afternoon tasting.
An hour's tasting to end the day, the entry fee paid.
Travellers praise the guides and the easy ride on new bikes.
From Dijon a minivan takes you south to Meursault, where your bike is waiting. The listing gives the van leg as 30 minutes; one traveller from Dijon found the drive closer to an hour. The e-bike does the climbing, so you need to be a safe, independent rider rather than a fit one. For two hours you follow bike paths between the vines and through the villages, stopping when your guide has something to show you.
If you still have energy, an optional hour takes you toward Montrachet, the vineyard behind the Côte de Beaune's most famous white wines. You ride past the plots whose names you will see on the wine list at dinner. Still choosing between Dijon Wine reservation? Every Dijon fare sits side by side, with what each one pours.
After the ride comes lunch, and it is paid for: platters of local charcuterie and cheese, over an hour and a half. The listing pairs it with a comparative tasting workshop, so expect your guide to talk you through what is on the plate as well as in the glass. Other drinks are extra.
A ten-minute drive after lunch brings you to a family-run winery for an hour and seven wines, the entry fee paid. Then the minivan takes you back to Dijon for about 4:30 pm, or to Beaune for 3:45 pm. This is the Côte de Beaune, the white end of the Côte d'Or, so expect Chardonnay to lead. If you prefer red wine and the Grand Cru villages nearer Dijon, the e-bike day on the Côte de Nuits rides from rue Monge instead.
You ride a bike safely on your own, want to be outside among the vines rather than inside a minivan, and like white wine. It suits active couples and friends, and anyone who wants lunch and the tasting fees settled in one fare.
You cannot ride, or have back or mobility problems: the same operator's lunch day by minivan goes to Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault for $254. You prefer red wine: the Côte de Nuits e-bike day costs $579. You want a short ride in town: the city ride to Lac Kir takes two and a half hours for $63. Every bike day is on dijon bike wine tour.
From Dijon, meet in front of the Cathédrale Saint-Bénigne at 9 am; the day ends there at about 4:30 pm. From Beaune, meet at 2 rue de l'Hôtel-Dieu at 10:15 am; you are back at 3:45 pm. Book the option that matches your start: the two are sold separately, and there is no hotel pickup.
Coming from Paris? The operator does not collect from Paris and suggests the train. Everything you need for a Dijon morning start is on the visitor guide, and where to sleep near the cathedral is on where to stay.

Rain kept us off the bikes, but the tastings still made the day worth every minute.

The ride was easy on a brand-new bike, the wineries were very good and the lunch stop was a treat.
