Dijon Wine Tour Prices in 2026: What Each Fare Buys
The short answer. A Dijon wine tour costs $45 to $1,378 a person. A seated cellar tasting in town is $45 to $62; a half-day on the Côte $112 to $173; a shared full day $165 to $254; a private day $492 to $680; and two private days $1,378. Every fare is per person, and all but one include the wine.
There is no ticket for Dijon's wine, so Dijon Wine ticket prices are really the fares of the tours and tastings. The spread is wide because the products are different: an hour in a cellar, a morning in the vines, a day with lunch, or a car for your party alone. Below, each band is priced with what it pours, what it leaves out, and the refund rule.
What does the whole range look like?
| Length | Fare per person | Hours | What it pours | Lunch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cellar tasting in town | $45 to $62 | 1 to 1.5 | 4 to 6 wines | No |
| City bike ride | $63 | 2.5 | A glass of Aligoté | No |
| Half-day on the Côte | $112 to $173 | 3 to 4 | About 5 wines, or 2 wineries | No |
| Shared full day | $165 to $254 | 7 to 8 | 1 to 3 wineries | On the À La Française days |
| E-bike day | $250 or $579 | 6.5 to 7 | 7, or at least 8 wines | Yes |
| Private day | $492 to $680 | 7 to 8 | 8, or 10 to 15 wines | No |
| Two private days | $1,378 | 2 days | 12 Premiers and Grands Crus | Two lunches |
Two things surprise people. First, the jump from a half-day to a private day is steep, because a private fare pays for a guide and a car that nobody else shares. Second, the dearest e-bike day costs more than some private days; it carries a guide, the bikes, a transfer and lunch.
What do the tastings in town cost?
These are the cheapest way into Burgundy's wine: a seat in a cellar with a host, no vehicle, an hour to an hour and a half.
- $45 at Les Caves de La Fine Heure, rue Berbisey: five wines (a Crémant, two whites, two reds) and a gougère, 90 minutes.
- $55 at La Source des Vins, opposite Saint-Bénigne: four wines with four cheeses, an hour.
- $62 at La Cave du Palais: six wines from a regional appellation to a Grand Cru, 90 minutes.
Per wine, the three are close: about $9 on rue Berbisey, about $13 with the cheeses, and about $10 at La Cave du Palais, whose pour runs up to a Grand Cru. All refund in full up to 24 hours ahead. They share a page, wine tastings in Dijon.
What does a half-day on the Côte cost?
From $112 to $173. The vintage van is the cheapest at $112: three hours from your hotel's reception, one cellar and about five wines, six people at most. The vehicle may change on the day.
The three Ophorus half-days cost $170 to $173. Each gives you two wineries with the tasting fees paid, a driver-guide and a minivan of eight. The difference is the côte: two go to the Côte de Nuits, one to the Côte de Beaune.
What does a shared full day cost?
From $165 to $254, and the gap buys lunch. The Authentica day at $165 includes the tasting and entrance fees but not lunch, which you buy in Beaune. It runs with four guests or more. The Ophorus day at $249 includes the tasting fees at three wineries; lunch is again yours.
The À La Française days cost $250 to $254 and include lunch. One goes to Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault. The other makes photo stops on the Côte de Nuits, serves a winery lunch and eight wines, and can be joined in Beaune at 11 am. Add a lunch of about EUR 25-40 to the cheaper days and the gap narrows.
The Auxois villages day at $243 is priced like a wine day but pours nothing: food and drinks are outside its fare. Book it for Flavigny, Semur and Châteauneuf, not for the wine.
What does a bike day cost?
$63 for the city ride, $250 for the Côte de Beaune by e-bike, $579 for the Côte de Nuits by e-bike. The city ride is two and a half hours from 78 rue Monge with a glass of Aligoté by Lac Kir, and it cannot be refunded or changed.
The Côte de Beaune day includes the e-bike, a minivan, seven wines and a charcuterie and cheese lunch. The Côte de Nuits day includes the e-bike, the transfer, two cellars with at least eight wines, and lunch in a restaurant, though not the drinks with it. Neither includes bottled water. Both sit on dijon bike wine tour.
What does a private day cost?
From $492 to $680 a person, so $984 to $1,360 for a couple. The car collects you at your hotel in Dijon or Beaune and carries your party alone.
The Grape Adventure days pour 10 to 15 wines, Premiers Crus included, with bottled water in the fare and lunch outside it. The Along Burgundy day includes all tasting fees and taxes and builds the estates around your taste; it needs two to book. The À La Française private day, the dearest, includes the Clos de Vougeot admission and eight wines. Compare them on private wine tours from Dijon.
Tip. A private fare is per person, not per car. Four friends pay four fares, so a private day never gets cheaper per head as the group grows. If price matters more than privacy, a shared day with eight seats costs a third as much. See how to plan the day.
What does the two-day tour cost?
$1,378 a person for two private days with twelve Premiers and Grands Crus. Day one runs from Marsannay through Gevrey-Chambertin, Vougeot and Nuits-Saint-Georges. Day two runs from Beaune through Aloxe-Corton to Meursault. Both lunches are in the fare; dinner and your hotel are not.
It is the only fare here that says it is wheelchair accessible, and it has its own refund rule, below.
What is inside the fare, and what is not?
| Item | Inside the fare | Outside the fare |
|---|---|---|
| The wine | Every fare but the villages day | Extra pours, and every bottle you buy |
| Lunch | À La Française days, both e-bike days, the two-day tour | Every other day: about EUR 25-40 |
| Clos de Vougeot entry | The À La Française private day | Optional and extra on the Côte de Nuits private day |
| Entrance fees | The Authentica day | Some half-days, unless listed |
| Bottled water | The Grape Adventure and Along Burgundy private days | Both e-bike days, the city ride, one À La Française day |
| Tips | None | Listed as extra on most fares |
Read the includes line before you book, not after. The Clos de Vougeot is the clearest case: one private day pays your entry and an hour inside, another stops outside and leaves the visit to you. On your own, the English guided tour costs EUR 15.
What is never inside the fare?
Tips, the bottles you buy, and drinks beyond the tasting. Gratuities are listed as extra on the Ophorus and Grape Adventure fares and on most À La Française days, and tips for the guide on the half-days that meet at the car park. Tipping is your call.
Hotel pickup is not inside the shared fares, except the vintage van, which meets you at your hotel's reception. Travel insurance and personal expenses are yours on every fare.
Which cancellation terms differ?
Almost every fare refunds in full if you cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Two do not:
- The two-day private tour: a full refund 6 or more days ahead, 50% from 2 to 6 days, nothing inside 2 days.
- The city bike ride: non-refundable, and it cannot be changed.
Several shared days also have a minimum: two adults on the Ophorus days, four on the Authentica day. If your date does not fill, the operator offers another date or a full refund.
